Tour Standards Policy

Professional standards for attire, behavior, checklists, and communication during tours.

Policies & StandardsLast Updated: July 13, 2026

1. Professional Attire

Guides must wear clean, professional attire appropriate for the property type. Business casual is the minimum standard. When a client provides branded attire or specifies a dress code, Guides must comply. Footwear should be clean and appropriate for the property.

2. Professional Behavior

Guides must arrive on time, greet prospects professionally, conduct tours with enthusiasm and knowledge, and maintain a positive attitude. Guides must not use profanity, engage in personal conversations unrelated to the tour, or display unprofessional conduct.

3. Tour Checklist

Guides should follow the standard tour checklist, which typically includes: verifying prospect identity, confirming the property address, showing all relevant areas of the property, answering questions, documenting prospect interest, and securing the property after the tour.

4. Communication Expectations

Guides should communicate clearly and professionally with prospects. Guides should be knowledgeable about the property's features, amenities, and neighborhood. Questions outside the Guide's scope should be directed to the client. Guides must not make promises or commitments on behalf of the client.

5. Photography Rules

Guides may capture photos and videos during tours only when authorized by the client. Photography must comply with the Photography & Video Release. Guides must not photograph prospects without consent and must respect privacy.

6. Safety

Guides must prioritize safety during tours. This includes identifying and reporting hazards, ensuring safe access to the property, and following the Safety Policy. If a property is deemed unsafe, the Guide may decline to conduct the tour.

7. Reporting

Guides must submit a post-tour report through the Platform within the timeframe specified by LeasedTourz. Reports should include prospect interest level, conversion likelihood, tour notes, and any issues encountered. See the Incident Reporting Policy for reporting safety or access issues.
